Usually, I create a one or two row motif each month for my tatting groups to work but ocassionally I give them a larger project that will take two or three classes to complete. This angel is definately a large project. The pattern uses basic rings and chains and the special techniques - block tatting, split rings, measured picots, pearl tatting and a beaded dropped (aka 'downward') picot.
I created two different Christmas Angel patterns this year but this one has been the most popular. There is still time to make one for Christmas so if you'd like to give it a go, the pattern, along with instructions for the special techniques are on my website. Your tatted angel is beautiful!!
What a GORGEOUS pattern! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you Carol.
Michelle, It would be nice if my Angel has lots of 'sisters' by Christmas.
: ) I wish but unless something changes about the way school operates, she'll have to get sisters next summer or by next Christmas! : )
Hi Jennifer, I was wondering if you are designer of the earrings I just blogged about. I printed the pattern off and now I cannot find the link to where I printed it from. If you could take a look on my blog and let me know. I want to give credit to the designer and link back to the pattern. I think the earring is very elegant and I have already made 6 pairs of these lovely earrings. Thank you!! http://caroltats.blogspot.com/2011/12/tatting-for-christmas.html
The pattern for those earrings, Carol, are in the 'Patterns'section on my website. I thought I had set up direct links to the individual pages but apparently not - or it isn't working. I need to buy more memory for my computer so I'll sort out the links when I've done that.
Jennifer

Hello Irena.
Thank you for your comment (which translates into English as "very pretty little angel, and I invite you to greet me")
Jennifer
Gracias.
Happy New Year
